A bistro and café-restaurant in a citrus grove in Neve Magen, baking and cooking in-house since 2002

Assaf Artisanal opened in 2002 in the quiet Neve Magen neighbourhood and sits in a grove of citrus trees. It began mainly as a patisserie and café, and its pages say it has since grown, in floor space and in menu, into a bistro and café-restaurant where everything is made in-house: cakes, pastries, breads, quiches and main courses. Mornings bring breakfasts, from an Israeli breakfast to a Yemeni kubaneh baked on the premises, and from midday the menu widens to salads, sandwiches, pastas, fish and meat, with house desserts, wines and cocktails. It is open every day, Saturday included, until midnight, and has a private room overlooking the garden for events.
