Kibbutz Ramat HaShofet, Ramat HaShofet

A café by day and a pizzeria on Monday and Thursday evenings, among wooden tables in the open air in Kibbutz Ramat HaShofet

In the heart of Kibbutz Ramat HaShofet, among wooden tables in the open air, The Gilbert's is a café and pizzeria with carefully made food and a homely atmosphere, by the Megiddo council's tourism site, which says Shiri Epstein-Gilbert created it around good ingredients and dishes made fresh every day. From Sunday to Friday mornings the café serves quality coffee, breakfasts, sandwiches on fresh bread, gluten-free too, salads, home-style shakshuka and changing desserts. On Monday and Thursday evenings it turns pizzeria, with thin crisp pizzas, and on Mondays there is home-made couscous to order ahead. It also makes hosting platters of sandwiches, mini focaccias, quiches, salads, cheeses, mini pizzas and desserts.
