A family estate winery in Rehelim whose wines come from its own vineyards in Bracha and are released after long ageing, with a visitor centre and the Tura Vibe courtyard kitchen

Tura is a family estate winery founded in 2003 in Rehelim by Vered and Erez Ben Saadon, who studied winemaking at Tel Hai College and Ariel University after planting their first 20 dunams of vines in Bracha in 1997, at 850 metres above sea level. Its site says it now has 560 dunams of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Viognier; it made 1,200 bottles in its first year and puts the coming summer's output at 120,000, releases its full-bodied wines only after long ageing in its cellars, and also makes olive oil. Its visitor centre takes up to 55 people, with paid visits booked ahead, and under the name Tura Vibe it offers a courtyard with a menu built on local produce, wine routes and small private events such as birthdays, tasting evenings and workshops. Vered Ben Saadon lit a torch at the ceremony for Israel's 75th Independence Day, in honour of the country's farmers, its site says.

Sources disagree on these hours

Its Tura Vibe page gives two timetables: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 to 17:00 with Friday 9:00 to 14:00, and Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 to 16:00 with Friday 9:00 to 14:00. It adds that the kitchen closes an hour before closing time and that in winter it closes at 13:00. Its home page says visits to the visitor centre are paid and booked ahead.
