5 Beit HaPoalim Street, Rehovot

A small bread and deli shop on Beit HaPoalim Street, open since 1990

Ktzat Acheret is a small shop at 5 Beit HaPoalim Street in Rehovot whose story, its site says, began in 1990 out of a love of bread. Every day it gets fresh breads and rolls from the Eshel Lehamim bakery, among them wholewheat, rye and spelt loaves with no added sugar or preservatives, and it recommends ordering two days ahead. It also sells home-made quiches and blintzes, fresh pastries every morning, sandwiches and coffee to go, cakes and cookies, some without added sugar, without flour or vegan, sheep and goat cheeses from Israel and abroad, and Israeli wines. It opens at 08:00 and takes an afternoon break on most days; on Friday it is open from 07:00 to 14:00.
