Shalgogo is a family ice-cream factory at 8 Binyamin Shmotkin Street in Rishon LeZion's old industrial zone, with a factory shop on site. Its site tells how its founder helped set up one of the country's first ice-cream factories in the 1960s and, after building many more, opened this family factory in 1995. It makes ice pops in many flavours with natural colourings only, low-calorie ice pops, fruit sherbet pops and dairy-free, lactose-free ice-cream desserts, and it brands ice pops for companies' events and promotions. Most of its products are kosher under the Edah HaHaredit of Jerusalem, and its dairy-free ice cream under the Rishon LeZion rabbinate. Besides the shop here, it has factory shops in Holon and Tzoran.
