26 HaRav Shalom Shabazi Street, Rosh HaAyin

The factory shop of a family bakery founded in 1980, on Shabazi Street, baking breads, pastries and Yemenite Friday foods late into the night

Hakfar Bakery was founded in 1980 by Rafael Levi, and its site says his children Kfir and Daniel now run it with the same recipes. Its factory is on HaTa'asiya Street in Rosh HaAyin, and its shop at 26 Shabazi Street is the factory shop, open from early morning until midnight on weekdays and round the clock on Thursday and after Shabbat. The counters run from cream cakes, cookies and rugelach to taboon pizzas, sambusak, borekas and focaccia, and from challah and sourdough loaves to pitas, lachuch and frena; on Thursdays and Fridays it sells jachnun and kubaneh, and on Fridays hilbe, skhug and its own hummus. It also makes hosting platters, and the chain has shops in Petah Tikva and two in Elad, with another in Rosh HaAyin's Pisgat Afek listed as coming soon.
