A coffee cart in a grove in Moshav Sde Yitzhak, south-east of Hadera, with açaí bowls, toasts, salads and pizza made with vegetables from the moshav's farmers, open on Saturdays too

HaSgalgala is a coffee cart in a grove in Moshav Sde Yitzhak, south-east of Hadera, launched by Topaz and Hadar Shapira, both engineers, during the Swords of Iron war, between Hadar's rounds of reserve duty; Topaz is the third generation of her family in the moshav, and she named the cart after purple, the colour of her mother, in whose memory it stands. Its listing on Coffee Trail says the vegetables and fruit in its dishes are bought straight from the moshav's farmers, and its house dish is HaSgalgala bowl, açaí with granola, nuts and fresh fruit. The menu also has toasts on ciabatta, bagels and spelt bread, Turkish bourekas, salads, shakes on almond milk and pizzas, with choices for vegans and for people who avoid gluten. The Menashe Regional Council's tourism page describes shaded seats in the grove and a heated transparent tent in winter, and the cart has a lawn and a play corner for toddlers. On Tuesdays it reopens in the evening for pizza, and it is open on Saturday mornings.
