Capische Caffe is a coffee cart in the HaAyalim car park in Sha'arei Tikva, set up by Asher, who grew up in the community and has worked in hospitality since he was young, as a meeting place for its residents. It stands on a small hill at the edge of the community among olive trees, near its schools, kindergartens and after-school clubs, and its logo shows Bambi holding a coffee because young deer are often seen running nearby. Besides coffee it serves a morning menu, with sandwiches such as smoked salmon and cream cheese on a Romanian bagel and brie with rocket, walnuts and honey in a pretzel roll, and in the evenings, mainly in summer, beer and wine from boutique wineries. It has hosted artists' fairs, stand-up nights and local musicians, and its staff all come from the community.
