Falafel Moen is, by its own account, one of the oldest falafel restaurants in Shefa-Amr. Its site tells that Moen Yousef Nseir opened it in 1970 under his old house in the al-Maktab quarter, where the pupils of the al-Maktab school were among its first customers, and that it later moved to Bab al-Deir Square, opposite the old Catholic school, where it still works. In 2000 it passed to his brother, Murshed Yousef Nseir, who runs it to this day. The menu is short: falafel in a pita, falafel mix by the kilo, a Turkish salad and cold drinks, and the site says all of it is made by hand. It is open every day of the week, from 08:00 to 14:00.
