Shukochel is a home-cooking restaurant at 3 HaCarmel Street in the Shilat industrial park, next to Modi'in. Its site says every dish is made on the spot each day from fresh ingredients, with a daily menu of mains and sides that changes, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and on Fridays a large menu of ready-made food and salads for Shabbat: fish, chicken, stews, stuffed vegetables, fried kubbeh and cigars, three kinds of hamin, breads and cakes. From Sunday to Thursday diners can sit and eat there. Friday orders placed on its site by 15:00 on Thursday are delivered on Friday until 15:00 for a fee, or collected by arrangement, and it hosts events of up to 100 guests on site.
