DOJO TLV is a martial-arts and fitness club at 5 HaArad Street in Tel Aviv, opened in 2019 by its owner, Omer Topaz, who its site says trained in martial arts from the age of six and served for about five years as a hand-to-hand combat instructor and officer in the army. It runs group classes in kickboxing, Thai boxing, classic boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu with wrestling, beside its own fitness classes: DOJO Functional, DOJO-FIT, which mixes bag work with strength and endurance work, and DOJO KBX, all on the bags. It also has an open gym, personal and pair training, and classes for children from first grade and for teens. Its site says the word dojo means the place of the way in Japanese, and that sparring is controlled and kept safe.
