The Drisco stands at the centre of the American-German Colony, a quiet quarter of historical houses a short walk from Neve Tzedek, the flea market and Florentin. Its site says it was established in 1866 and is a member of Relais & Châteaux; in 2026 it marks 160 years. The 42 rooms and suites are spread between the main building and the adjacent Villa Drisco, and some keep nineteenth-century rooms that were renovated between 2010 and 2018. Guests have a rooftop that looks to the sea, the Mark Twain salon, a garden, a gym open around the clock and a spa treatment room. George & John, the hotel's restaurant, is on the ground floor, and beside it are a private dining floor and rooms for meetings and events.
