Izen Spa is on the first floor of the McCann Erickson building at 2A Raoul Wallenberg Street, where visitors ask the clerk in the lobby to go up. Its house treatment is the Izen method, developed by Ludmila Gingis after years of competitive sport in the Soviet Union and studies of physical education and anatomy, which combines several techniques on the treatment bed and on an inversion device; it also offers a four-hands massage by two therapists, Thai, Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, lymphatic, pregnancy and combined massage, reflexology and an extremities massage. The spa is part of a small complex with treatment rooms, a rest room, a dry Finnish sauna and a bathroom, a private gym that spa clients may use at no extra cost, a café with a healthy menu and a rooftop rest area overlooking the city. Its site suggests arriving early to use the gym and the sauna before the treatment.
