Hamasgeria (המסגריה, the metal workshop) is a burger bar at Tel Yosef Junction on Route 71, beside the Sonol petrol station. Its website sets the colours of the valley against rusted iron, a welding mask, tools and one blue sign, and it names two owners: Uri Ben Porat, who built the place with his own hands, and Yiftach Tzafrir, its chef. The plain burger comes at 160 or 220 grams and the specials carry workshop names, among them Sadan Al HaZman, with cheddar, a fried egg, beef bacon and maple syrup, and Karish Patish, with an onion loaf, pineapple sauce and jalapeño. The menu also has fire-roasted aubergine and carpaccio to start, chicken wings, a pulled-brisket ciabatta, a Beyond burger and a vegan mushroom burger, and Beck's and Malka beer by the third or the half litre. It is open every day of the week, from noon on Sunday to Friday and from 14:00 on Saturday.
