Bora Bora is a declared bathing beach on Route 90 at the northern exit from Tiberias, set in a shore reserve where spring water bursts from the rock into the lake between palm trees. By its own account the family's father lived on Bora Bora in Tahiti in the 1980s and brought the dream home: for years the beach was the family's own, and in 2010 it opened to the public, built of bamboo, straw and wood. Its Polynesian-style bar pours every kind of drink and has a cigar bar, and its beach restaurant serves Israeli and Middle Eastern dishes with Italian touches, with hammocks, sofas, sun loungers and a lifeguard on the beach. It is open every day from 10:00 to 18:00, entry to the beach is 65 shekels, and it hosts company fun days.
