Sinai 48 is a boutique apartment hotel founded in 2021 in Vered Yeriho, with four apartments for families and couples: Kidron, Kaneh, Kedem and Qumran. Its site says the building has a paved rooftop with a 360-degree view over the Dead Sea, the Kypros and Dok fortresses, Nebi Musa, the Judean Desert and Amman. The family has grown Medjool and Barhi dates since 2007 and runs guided tours of its orchard by arrangement, in Hebrew, English or French, for guests and outside groups alike, and boxes of its dates and wines from the Telem winery can be ordered to the apartments. Its site also points guests to the Chance, a kosher roadside restaurant on Route 1 past Almog junction, which serves the apartments' guests and delivers to them.
