Cafe Lyon's Yavne branch is in the Carso compound at 22 HaNachshol Street, in the Yavne HaYeruka neighbourhood, and its site says the brothers Chen and Tomer Bachar run it with a family feel. The menu has breakfasts served until 16:00, croissants, sandwiches, salads, pastas and pizzas, among them salmon and avocado bruschetta, crispy mushroom and cheese balls, Italian salmon fillet, individual quiches and sweet potato and chestnut pasta. It has an events room for up to 45 guests and free covered parking all day. The chain grew out of La Lyonnaise, which has run in Ashdod since 1996, and lists seven branches. The Yavne rabbinate lists it as kosher mehadrin.
