On dirt tracks outside the moshava, Yavne'el

An ecological food forest on dirt tracks outside Yavne'el that hosts eco-camping stays, courses and retreats, with a natural pool and a view to the Sea of Galilee

Gan HaHaim is an ecological farm and food forest that its founders began building in 2018 on a bare slope, ten to fifteen minutes' drive along dirt tracks from the moshava of Yavne'el, with an open view over Nahal Yavne'el and the Sea of Galilee. It takes a few guests at a time for quiet eco-camping in equipped tents or with their own gear, all year round and by arrangement, with hot showers, composting toilets, solar power, a shared vegan kitchen, vegetables and fruit from its beds and trees in season, an infrared sauna, an ice bath on request, a movement area, a birdwatching post and a library. Its natural pool is kept clean by plants rather than chemicals, so guests are asked not to put on creams or soaps on the day they swim. It also runs courses and workshops in practical ecology, orchard growing, food preservation, earth building and mushroom growing, healing retreats, and volunteering stays of two weeks or more.
