A pick-your-own strawberry farm in covered greenhouses in Moshav Yesha, open to visitors on Fridays and Saturdays from December to April
Uri Tutim is the pick-your-own strawberry side of Meshek Patkin, a family farm in Moshav Yesha in the Besor region that has belonged to the family since 1965. Its site says Uri Patkin, who was born in Yesha, came back to the farm in 2003 after years in high tech and runs it with Galit Patkin, and that the farm grows hanging strawberries by the bio method, with bumblebee hives for pollination and recycled irrigation water, for supermarket chains and selected shops, as well as flowers. From December to April the covered greenhouses open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 to 14:00, with tickets booked ahead: visitors eat freely among strawberries hung at eye level, in about ten varieties including the grape-scented Berry for You, and fill a basket to take home. Entry with a 250 g basket is 50 shekels, with a 500 g heart-shaped basket 60 shekels, and children under three come in free. The picking reopens in December 2026, and its site says visitors come from across the country during the Darom Adom festival in February, when the Besor region is covered in red anemones.
