Halav Im HaRuach, Goats with the Wind, is a small farm at the foot of Mount Shavi near Yodfat, where Amnon and Daliah keep a herd of goats that graze the hills around it and make organic goat cheeses from their milk, with know-how its site says was gathered in Sardinia, Corsica, Provence and Tuscany. Its restaurant sits outdoors under a carob or an almond tree, on rugs and cushions the couple collected on their travels, facing the Beit Netofa valley, and serves the farm's cheeses with salads, sourdough bread and a rose water drink; in the cold months guests eat by the fireplace. The set menu is dairy, and a meat menu can be ordered ahead for four diners or more. Meals, cheese tastings and cheese sales are by phone booking only, and Peniel, of the family, makes a red wine aged in wooden barrels that is sold with a meal or on its own.
