Amal Bakery is a boutique bakery in Zemer where everything is gluten-free, by its own website, which sells its breads, savoury pastries, frozen dishes, vegan products and sweets for delivery to the door. Amal Yassin began baking without wheat flour after she was diagnosed with coeliac disease and spent 13 years on the recipes before the bakery opened, by a 2021 feature in Mynet's regional magazine that the bakery reprints on its site. The same feature describes three kitchens, a baking room and a room for guests, and says she was baking 1,000 pitas a day, along with sambusak from tapioca, rice and soy flour, baklava, kunafa from rice and corn flour, ravioli and kubbeh. The site gives its hours as 08:00 to 20:00 from Sunday to Thursday and 08:00 to 16:00 on Friday.
