What does a contractor classification such as ג5 mean?
It is a group, א, ב or ג, followed by a type from 1 to 5. The Registrar's table sets a financial scope for each one: up to ₪1,948,000 for א1 and no limit for a type 5.
How can a contractor be checked before it is hired?
Every company on the list has its contractor number, its branches and its classifications here, and its name opens its page in the company register. A company that is not here was not on the list on 8 November 2026.
Are contractors who work as individuals on these pages?
No. The Registrar's list also holds contractors who are individuals, and these pages show companies only.
