Alma is a small complex in the Old City of Acre, a short walk from the market and the port, of three suites around a stone-paved patio for the guests, among Crusader and Ottoman arches and stonework. Each suite can be booked alone, two can be joined into a larger unit, or the whole complex taken by friends or a family. All three are on the ground floor, about 35 square metres each, with kitchenettes, vaulted ceilings and roll-in showers, and they offer different degrees of access: Sultana has no steps and wide doorways. Check-in is on your own, children are welcome from age 8, and quiet hours in the shared spaces run from ten at night to eight in the morning, out of regard for the neighbours.
