Samurayo opened in 2011 as a small branch at 27 Yehoshua Hankin Street, on the corner of Yerushalayim Street, working mostly on deliveries and pickup. In 2020 it opened a larger place with seating inside and out, a full bar, music and an atmosphere of its own, and its site now gives its address as 25 HaNasi Weizmann Street. The menu runs from stir-fries and Asian mains to sushi rolls, with steamed bao buns, a gluten-free stir-fry and a kids' menu. It hosts events, runs a members' club and invites franchise partners on its site.
