Agur Winery stands at 17 Moshav Agur, between the Judean hills and the Elah Valley. Its site says it was founded in 1999 by Shuki Yashuv, one of the pioneers of the Judean hills wine region, and that since 2020 two partners have joined him: Elad Katz, who came from senior posts in the wine trade, and Eyal Drori, a winemaker with degrees in viticulture and wine science, the second from the University of Turin. It makes a small range from its own vineyards at Mata, Ein Kerem and Givat Yeshayahu. Visitors can drink a bottle or a glass in the courtyard, under the covered pergola or in the tasting room, at a table or on a mat, with cheeses, bread, dips and vegetables from small local producers, and sometimes with live music. The site adds that families are welcome though the place is not fitted for children, and that the winery takes business events only.
