A country-style café and restaurant on Akhva Street in Arad, built around a large stone oven: pizzas, focaccia, salads and fresh pastries.
Kaparuchka stands on the corner of Akhva and Gilad streets. Arad's tourism site says Oria Aharoni and Liza Talmazsky opened it in 2014, after nine months of renovating the place and building the oven, the tableware and the furniture; the name is Liza's, who was born in Moldova and grew up in Kiryat Gat. Its own site says the food is made on the premises, from natural ingredients only. The menu runs from stone-oven pizzas and focaccia to salads and a potato calzone, with separate vegan, drinks, and beer and wine menus, and the site takes orders online. It opens at noon from Sunday to Thursday and at nine on Friday morning.
