Arad's tourism site counts Pizza Tokyo among the town's oldest places: Sami and Alex, brothers who immigrated from Argentina, set it up in the commercial centre in 1978. It serves pizzas, fresh salads, Israeli breakfasts, pastries and ice cream, all made in house without preservatives, and has tables inside and outside. From Sunday to Friday it opens at 7:30 in the morning, and on Saturday it opens in the evening. The Arad religious council's list of supervised businesses includes it.
