Manches Ariel opened in late 2008 at 2 HaMelakha Street, and its site says it set out to lead the food culture of the area with a rich and varied menu, a relaxed atmosphere, a homely feel and courteous service. The menu runs from breads with dips, beef fillet carpaccio and goulash soup to lamb kebab, a 220-gram Texas entrecôte, pargit steak, stir-fries over rice or noodles, tortillas and burgers of fresh beef ground on the premises, among them a Tournedos Rossini with foie gras medallions; its best sellers, by its own list, are the pargit steak, the noodles and a hot Mexican burger. It hosts events of up to 150 people, takes table bookings for up to 15, delivers and sells gift cards online. It opens from 10:30 to 00:15 Sunday to Thursday, is closed on Friday except for booked events, and opens on Saturday night about an hour after Shabbat ends.
