Tzimbar is a single guest cabin in Ashalim, the African Hut, run by ceramic artist Ruthy Bismuth beside her ceramics studio, Studio Bar. She built the hexagonal cabin with its wicker roof together with her four sons, hung her own paintings on its walls and lit it with her ceramic lamps; inside are a canopy bed, a jacuzzi set in stone and lit by candles and a kitchenette, and outside a private garden in the shade of trees with a desert water pool built from recycled materials, whose water waters the garden. It is mainly for couples, though small families are welcome, and it has recently been made partly accessible to wheelchair users. Guests and visitors can book ceramics and mosaic workshops in the studio, and in summer the community pool is open for a fee.
