A small tiramisu and gelato shop in a neighbourhood shopping centre in Rova Alef, opened by Yan Harosh in February 2025 beside his Farino pizzeria and PAT deli

The Tiramisuteria sells two things: classic tiramisu in several sizes and gelato. It is the third business Yan Harosh has opened on one block of HaEshel Street in Rova Alef, after Farino, his Neapolitan pizzeria at number 9, and PAT, his Italian café and deli, and on Wolt it calls itself part of the Farino family. Harosh, who was 30 when it opened, told Israel Hayom that he started out as a barista, that illy sent him to its coffee university in Trieste, and that he began Farino by selling pizzas from home once a week; he told mako the idea came from queueing 45 minutes for tiramisu in Rome. mako and Israel Hayom called it Israel's first tiramisu bar. It opened on a Thursday in February 2025, and mako reported on 17 February that a long queue had formed half an hour before opening, that on the Saturday night 1,200 portions sold out within an hour and a half, and that even the mayor had phoned Harosh to ask what was going on. The following month mako put it third on its list of the ten most talked-about restaurants of March 2025, after dozens of food bloggers had filmed its tiramisu for Instagram and TikTok. As the press described it then, the ladyfingers are baked on site and dipped in illy coffee, layered with zabaglione, mascarpone and cocoa, and each portion is packed by hand in its own branded box; the gelato is made on site too, with toppings that change daily, such as a torched marshmallow, and the shop is small, with seven tables and a counter. It shares a plaza of tables and chairs with PAT and Farino, which Walla found full on an ordinary weekday evening in December 2025, in what it called the shopping centre of the Electric Company housing estate.

Sources disagree on these hours

These are the hours on its Wolt page, which are also the hours it takes orders there: Sunday to Wednesday 10:00 to 22:00, Thursday 09:00 to 22:00 and Friday 09:00 to 13:00; the page shows Saturday as closed. mako and Israel Hayom printed Sunday to Thursday 11:00 to 22:00 and Friday 10:00 to 13:00 in April 2025, and in its first weeks, in February 2025, it opened from 16:00 to 22:30, Sunday to Thursday. Saturday night is not settled: no source from the past year gives an opening after Shabbat, and on its first weekend, mako wrote, it was serving on Saturday night.
