A country coffee cart on Marek farm at the northern end of Moshav Beit Hillel, beside a wheat field, serving sandwiches and pastries made from produce of the farms around it

Kaphnnyo, from the Greek for 'a place of coffee', is a coffee cart that Sharon set up with Nofar on Marek farm in Moshav Beit Hillel, inspired by the country coffee carts she met on her travels in Australia and New Zealand. The cart stands right on the road beside a wheat field, in a compound of farm fields that also holds the farm owner's meat food truck at weekends, and in winter guests can sit inside a closed, warm greenhouse. The bread comes from a bakery on a nearby kibbutz, the avocado from a nearby orchard and the greens from a new organic farm in the moshav. The menu runs to an avocado sandwich on rustic or spelt bread, a Greek spinach and feta snail pastry, cheese bourekas, Amsterdam cookies, date balls and banana cake. There is a horse on the farm and room for children to run, and the Snir (Hasbani) nature reserve is a five-minute drive away.
