An Italian restaurant by the southern entrance to Moshav Beit Hillel, on the banks of the Hasbani with a view of Mount Hermon, known for its pastas, its taboon pizzas and its cheese deli

Cheese is an Italian restaurant in Moshav Beit Hillel, by the moshav's southern entrance, on the banks of the Hasbani with a view of Mount Hermon. Its story says it began in 2010 as a small pizza place opened by students who had come north to study at Tel Hai College. The menu runs from house bread, polenta and burrata salad to fresh pastas, pink trout from Dan, and pizzas and focaccias from the taboon, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and desserts from its own pastry kitchen. Beside the restaurant it runs a deli selling cheeses by weight, and a free members' club gives birthday and anniversary treats. It opens Monday to Saturday from 14:00 to 22:00.
