Ramot Shapira is the guest house of an educational centre in Moshav Beit Meir, which also runs the Sha'ar HaGai field school, with guided trips in the Jerusalem hills, and Midreshet Peima, a midrasha for Judaism and Zionist society. It takes families, groups and conferences of up to 450 people, with rooms of several sizes, some with a fridge and some with a panoramic view of the hills, an accessible room on request, six halls and twelve classrooms, a central dining room and private ones, a synagogue, an amphitheatre facing the view, a lobby with a hot-drinks corner and a reception desk open around the clock. The place has a religious character and serves its meals under mehadrin supervision of the Mateh Yehuda rabbinate; it hosts groom's Shabbat celebrations, family events and seminars, and runs family holiday stays over Passover and Sukkot. Parking and wireless internet are free.
