1 Rahavat HaBanim, Beit Yitzhak-Sha'ar Hefer, Beit Yitzhak-Sha'ar Hefer

An Italian and Asian bistro on Rahavat HaBanim in Beit Yitzhak, open since 2003, with fresh sushi, pastas, seafood and grilled meat

Hanamaru, whose name means "round flower" in Japanese, has cooked in Moshav Beit Yitzhak since 2003, and its site describes its kitchen as a meeting of East and West. The menu runs from classic Italian dishes and breakfasts to Asian food: sushi in rolls and sashimi, which its site says has made its name in the area, stir-fries and curries, alongside meat, fish and seafood. Starters include smoked baladi aubergine, beef carpaccio and shrimps in butter and white wine; the pastas include chestnut gnocchi and seafood linguine, and the mains run from house schnitzel and lamb kebab to sea bream fillet and seafood paella. It opens for breakfast at 08:00 on weekdays and takes table bookings and delivery orders through its site.
