Kesem HaMaga (the magic of touch) is a spa and guest house for couples in Bethlehem of Galilee, opened in 2002 by Nechama and Yoram Madan, a couple since the age of 15, in old farm buildings converted with wood, mats and mineral plaster to keep a village feel. Each of its four units has a double bed, a jacuzzi on a private balcony, an espresso machine, a bottle of wine, robes and Netflix, from 750 shekels a night, or 850 for the VIP unit, and staying guests have the spa's large jacuzzi and dry sauna free in the evening. Couples' massages are given by therapists who have worked with the place for years, and the founders lead couples' workshops, among them private tantra and massage workshops. The spa and its office work from Sunday to Friday, 09:00 to 16:00, and are closed on Saturday.
