Ein Gev Holiday Resort lies on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee at the foot of the Golan Heights, at Kibbutz Ein Gev, and its site calls it one of the first holiday resorts around the lake. Its 174 double and family rooms, villas and apartments spread over gardens and wide lawns, many in the first row facing the water, most with a kitchenette, a private balcony and a barbecue corner. A natural sandy beach runs along the resort, with a lifeguard station in the bathing season, loungers, parasols and a beach kiosk serving ice cream, drinks and light meals. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the lake, kosher under the Emek HaYarden rabbinate, and the resort also has a wine room pouring wines from Galilee and Golan wineries, a deli of local produce, a children's playroom, a club for over-16s with billiards and table tennis, and a synagogue.
