Dona Rosa is an Argentinian meat restaurant in the Ein Hod artists' village, in an old stone house fitted out like a South American ranch, with wood and wine bottles on the walls and tables inside and on the terrace. Its site says the grandchildren of Don Marcos and Doña Rosa built it to recreate their grandmother's kitchen as it stood on the family farm some 80 years ago. The beef is imported from Argentina, dry-aged on the premises and grilled over quebracho blanco charcoal brought from South America. The menus also carry vegetarian and vegan dishes, chocolate and dulce de leche desserts, beers from local breweries and a long wine list. It is the oldest restaurant of the Dona Rosa group, which also opened a restaurant in Barcelona in 2016, and it is open from Monday to Saturday, Friday evening included.
