Lucky Bun, also called the Family Kitchen, is a joint venture of chef JJ Jalil and his friend Daniel Mauda: a kosher chef's kitchen meant to let families eat good ingredients at a fair price. Its listing says Jalil was born in the United States, moved to Israel in 2005 with a background in molecular gastronomy, and lives in Ein Rafa with his wife and their two sons.
