Anandu was founded by Nava Matzliach, a personal and couples counsellor of about 15 years who leads its couples' workshop, Back to Love. The name joins the Sanskrit ananda, a deep inner joy, with du, two: serenity for two, its site says. The stay is in a wooden cabin with a tended yard, and comes with breakfast, a bottle of wine as a gift and a choice of body treatments at 400 shekels a person, among them reiki, shiatsu, reflexology, hot stones and Chinese acupuncture. Its site offers the couples' workshop with a midweek night in the suite at an introductory price of 1,800 shekels, and packages for a pampering day, for friends and for newlyweds.
