The Achziv Field School of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel stands at the northern end of Israel's Mediterranean shore, close to Rosh HaNikra and next to the Achziv beach reserve, on Road 4 six kilometres north of the Nahariya junction. Its air-conditioned rooms have their own shower and toilet, a coffee corner and free WiFi, and its page says the place is loved by families who like the sea, by water-sports fans and by walkers bound for the Galilee hills and streams. Breakfast is included, with half board at weekends, and the shared spaces take in lawns facing the sea, a guests' club with television, board games and books, a classroom, a synagogue, a campfire area, an equipped campsite and a shared kitchenette. On foot, guests can reach the lagoons of the Achziv reserve and along the shore to Rosh HaNikra, and the school runs guided activities at Passover and Sukkot and every August.
