The Gesher HaZiv Travel Hotel stands at the edge of Kibbutz Gesher HaZiv, by an accessible eucalyptus grove and a kilometre from the Achziv beach, ten minutes' drive south of the Rosh HaNikra grottoes and five minutes north of Nahariya, by its listing on the Western Galilee tourism association's site. Its 28 rooms are styled like a Greek village in blue, white, yellow and pale blue: four roomy holiday apartments, eight double guest rooms and sixteen studios, each with a balcony or garden with a seating corner, and one room adapted for wheelchair users; barbecue corners, green paths and benches are spread around the grounds. Breakfast is a Mediterranean spread of salads, fresh breads and dishes to start the day, with meals for vegans and the gluten sensitive on request, and guests may use the kibbutz tennis courts when free and its seasonal pool a short walk away. The hotel welcomes dogs, which may sit with their owners at the tables outside the dining room, and the dining room can be hired for events, workshops and talks.
