Aledro is the hydroponic farm of Amit and Maoz from moshav Geulim, who grow lettuces and other greens in water alone, according to its page on the Lev HaSharon tourism site. Its greenhouses hold a wide range of crops: lettuces of different kinds, leafy vegetables and herbs. It also sells produce that comes straight from other farmers in the Sharon, such as cherry tomatoes, white onions, sweet potatoes, baby potatoes, avocados, and blueberries and strawberries in season. Everything can be bought on the spot, or ordered online from Sunday to Wednesday and collected on Thursday or Friday from the fridges in the white hangar, paid for there on the honour system.
