Zoot Allures was opened by the Nelson group at the corner of Katzenelson and Weizmann Streets, in the heart of the city, and takes its name from a Frank Zappa album. Its booking page calls it the bar that started Givatayim's nightlife and says it is marking ten years with a new menu of sharing plates for the middle of the table: three-colour hummus, beef fillet carpaccio, burrata caprese, arayes, black rice risotto and sea fish fillet. Its site says the drinks come in silverware and decorated jugs, and that it specialises in cocktails and good beers. From Sunday to Wednesday there is a happy hour with 25% off the whole menu. It can be closed for private or business events of up to 150 guests.
