Pub Gvulot opened in 2007 and, by its own menu's account, has become a burger institution that draws people from all over the country, its burgers made every day from fresh lean beef for almost two decades. The menu runs to burgers of 200 to 600 grams in combinations such as the Texas, the Mexico, the Tokyo and the Argentine, any of them with a vegan patty instead, alongside schnitzels, fish and chips, pad kaprao, a beef and rice bowl, starters, desserts and draught beer from a third of a litre to a litre. It is the pub of the Gvulot guest rooms, whose site says it opens every evening except Friday and serves kosher food. Its entry in the Eshkol council's business directory gives the kitchen as open Sunday to Thursday from 12:00 to 0:30 and on Saturday night until 1:00, with lunch deals at midday and delivery to the council's communities.
