Guest house

Kibbutz Gvulot, Gvulot

The guest rooms of Kibbutz Gvulot, which grew out of the first of the Negev's three lookout posts of 1943, with a covered heated pool, a kosher dining room and a pub

Kibbutz Gvulot grew out of the first of the three lookout posts set up in the Negev, founded on 12 May 1943 and moved after 1948 to its present site, about a kilometre and a half north-east of the lookout; today it lives from farming, industry and tourism. Its guest operation has 26 ground-level kibbutz rooms for up to five people, each with a kitchenette, a fridge, a microwave, air conditioning, television and Wi-Fi, and Beit Mexico, two shared guest houses in a Mexican style with 10 and 7 bedrooms around a shared kitchen and lounge. Guests have lawns with hammocks, swings and barbecues, a covered and heated pool open all year, a kosher dining room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a pub, a grocery, sports grounds and a playground. Tours can be booked to see the tree owls, through the kibbutz and its mosaics, and to the historic Mitzpe Gvulot, and breakfast baskets to the room and a campfire evening of stories and singing come on request.
