La Luna, which signs itself Italy in the Galilee, is a small Italian restaurant on Kibbutz HaGoshrim. Its site says it works with the freshest produce it can get, makes its dough by hand and bakes it in an Italian stone oven. The menu runs from focaccia and nine pizzas, among them a vegan one with cashew mozzarella and one with smoked goose and chilli jam, to house-made pasta, gnocchi and ravioli, salads, desserts, draught beer and coffee with almond or soy milk. Pizzas and pastas can be made gluten-free. It opens in the evening from Sunday to Thursday and on Saturday, closes on Friday, seats guests as tables come free, and takes orders online.
