9 Arye Shenkar Street, Herzliya Pituach, Herzliya

The Herzliya Pituach branch of Moon, the Tel Aviv sushi bar that opened on Bograshov Street in 2000, with a long bar, a gallery and a menu built mostly on rolls

This is the Herzliya Pituach branch of Moon, a sushi restaurant that, by its own account, opened on Bograshov Street in Tel Aviv in 2000. mako wrote in July 2026 that Moon was the first sushi bar in Israel to run a conveyor belt of small plates, and that a delivery branch on neighbouring Pinsker Street followed, later with seats of its own. Its website lists four branches, Bograshov, Pinsker, Savyon and Herzliya, and says another is on the way; mako named Hod HaSharon as the next. The chain had an earlier branch in Herzliya: its accessibility statement, last updated in January 2024, gives that branch's address as 4 HaHoshlim Street. In May 2026 ynet listed Moon, "which closed and will reopen", among the restaurants due in the business quarter, and in July 2026 mako reported this branch on Arye Shenkar Street newly open, the chain's fourth, as Debbest also called it in September. Lin Levi of mako described an entrance hall with a host stand, a long bar and a sushi bar beside the station where the sushi is made, and a gallery with more seats where a DJ plays from time to time, in a modern and slightly dramatic design with large light fittings; once the street works end, mako wrote, the restaurant plans to add outdoor seating between the two office buildings. By its own account its kitchen is Japanese fusion, with more than a hundred rolls. The menu is mostly sushi: sashimi, nigiri, maki, chirashi and rolls with raw or cooked fish, cream cheese, eel, seafood or foie gras, sushi sandwiches, and a vegetarian and vegan section with vegan cheeses, beside a few izakaya dishes such as ramen, udon, gyoza and Japanese curry rice. Lin Levi wrote that the sushi keeps the standard of the Tel Aviv and Savyon branches and is among the best in the country. It is open every day from 12:00, Sundays included, and takes delivery and pickup orders from 11:30 through its own ordering page. Since 2018, by its own account, it has packed takeaway in biodegradable boxes, and since early 2023 it has given diners reusable stainless-steel chopsticks in all its branches.

Sources disagree on these hours

Its website gives the Herzliya branch's hours as every day, Sunday to Saturday, 12:00 to 23:00 for seating and 11:30 to 23:00 for delivery and pickup, and a notice on its home page says the branch is now open seven days a week, Sundays included. mako's review of July 2026 gave Monday to Saturday from 12:00, and its Google listing, as Wanderlog copies it, has Monday to Saturday 12:00 to 23:00 and no Sunday hours. Its ordering page on Tabit lists 12:00 to 23:00 every day; those are ordering hours.
