HaMaayan Beit HaBira is a Greek taverna and fish restaurant at 2 Sokolov Street. Its menu is mezze, salads, smoked and salted fish, fried and grilled whole fish, ouzo and arak. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights singers from Greece and Israel perform with bouzouki players, and on Monday and Wednesday it plays Greek music and serves a set fish meal for two. Nir Kipnis, who reviewed it in Maariv in December 2025, wrote that they spent one of their most enjoyable evenings lately there, with Greek music, shows and Kabbalat Shabbat on its calendar.
