Chateau Remo is a Galilee winery in Moshav Hosen, founded in 2012 by Remo Ben Shushan, whom its site calls a pioneer of Israel's mushroom industry and the owner of Marina Galilee Mushrooms. Its winemaker chooses vineyards in the northern Golan Heights and the Upper Galilee, 750 metres and more above the sea, and the winery makes about 50,000 bottles a year, among them the Hosen Blend, the Grand Blend, a Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve and the Top 7 Special Reserve, most of them aged 18 months in French oak. Its visitor centre holds wine tastings and tastings that pair the wines with cheeses and with mushrooms of its own, for individuals and groups, and the winery hosts private events of up to 80 people. It is open Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 to 17:00 and on Friday until 13:00.
