Guest house · ₪₪ · No kosher certificate

Main Tabbash Road, Ka'abiyye-Tabbash-Hajajre

A Bedouin-style guest tent for groups in the yard of a family home on the edge of Tabbash, looking over Nahal Zippori and the Alonei Abba oak reserve, with foraging and cooking workshops

Etzel Shimshon BaHatzer, Samson's yard, is a guest tent in the style of a Bedouin khan in the yard of Sharon and Asaf, who lived in nearby Alonei Abba some 30 years ago, were offered land on the edge of Tabbash by the village's late mukhtar, bought a plot from his family, built the hut they still live in with their own hands and raised three children there; Shimshon was their beloved horse. The khan holds up to 50 people for gatherings, up to 80 in the yard on fine days, and sleeps up to 30 on mats and mattresses in two rooms with wood stoves and air conditioning. The yard has seating corners, a vine arbour, a barbecue, a campfire spot used in winter, two donkeys and chickens, and from the guesthouse's porch there is a view to the Mediterranean. It hosts family and business events, team days, retreats and bicycle groups, and foraging and gourmet cooking workshops can be booked there; the Ein Yivka spring in the Nahal Zippori gorge is a short walk away.
